The Franschhoek Wine Valley, has secured the number seven spot on Wine Enthusiast Magazine’s 10 Best Wine Travel Destinations, as listed on their digital platform
Franschhoek, the only South African wine destination to be mentioned, shares the spotlight with other internationally recognized and tourist rich destinations, which include Spain, USA, France, Australia and Italy.
The listing goes into great detail about Franschhoek and what visitors to the valley can experience. From the history to the award-winning wine producers the listing has encapsulated the essence of Franschhoek perfectly.

Regarded as the event on the foodie social calendar the annual Eat Out Awards took place at a gala event on Sunday, 20 November, and Franschhoek excelled. Three restaurants situated in the valley earned a spot on the coveted Top 10 list. Foliage was listed 9th, with The Kitchen at Maison Estate coming in at 8th position. Not a stranger to this prestigious industry competition The Tasting Room at Le Quartier Français secured the 4th position on the highly acclaimed list.
