Initiated in 2012, Gastronomic Year of Brussels, the festival became the major gourmet event of the year, as a symbol of the European capital culinary diversity.
For its sixth edition, the festival invited 15 emblematic chefs from Brussels who took turns to showcase their signature-dish. For the first time, they were joined by 5 pastry chefs.
In the very heart of Brussels park, this convivial event put famous chefs from Brussels in the spotlight as well as wines from Bordeaux.
More than 25,000 were tasted, and the 50 wine-growers and merchants from Bordeaux served almost 90,000 wine tastings.
Once again, Bordeaux Wine School guided visitors in their discovery through playful and gourmet workshops.
And this year, the Eat!Awards” were presented to the chefs whose dishes were the most popular during these four days.
