Further than internal issues regarding the life and the future of our Network, the focus of the upcoming Délice Annual General Assembly in Merida, Mexico, from May 27th to 31st, 2024, will be a question that any city is confronted with:
In our rapidly changing world, can traditional cooking and innovation exist together?
Traditional cooking connects us to our heritage, while innovation sparks creativity. Finding a balance is key. During the Assembly, Chefs, experts and Délice Network members will discuss how to honor tradition while embracing new ideas.
A special emphasis will also be placed on the Project "Pueblos del Maiz" linking 4 Délice cities (Puebla, Tucson, Merida and San Antonio) around an essential local product: the corn. Together with local peers, Chefs coming from these cities will be invited for a unique Chef pairing around this common and important local ingredient.
Délice members will have the chance to meet Chef Ryan Clark from Tucson, Chef Roberto Solis from Merida and many others.
