2019 Activity Report

2019 was a very rich and intense year in Délice Network. With 4 new member cities, including our first 2 members in South America. The year was also filled with interesting gatherings & projects. Finally, 2019 was a year of elections with a new Executive Committee elected in September. 

The Activity Report 2019 looks back at the main accomplishement of the Network over the year:

New Members: 4 cities joined the network in 2019, including the first 2 members in South-America. The network definitely accomplished the international spread it was aiming

• Cali, Colombia
• Malmö, Sweden
• Buenos Aires, Argentina
• Portland, USA

Network Gatherings: The members were invited to gather twice during the year. Each 3-day meeting allows to consolidate the links among members, discover the projects & initiatives of the host city and gain knowledge and expertise around a specific topic

• Tucson, USA: In May, 15 cities gathered in Arizona to discover one of the newest member cities and discuss the strong marketing leverages around "superstar food"
• Stavanger, Norway: For this elective AGM, 21 cities reunited in the Norwegian member city and discussed the importance of qualitative and sustainable food in the Business Tourism sector.

Projects & Collaborations: Most of the connections among members are individual and not documented. However, the network facilitated some projects and interesting connections with members who have similar challenges and ambitions. The report sums up a few of these initiatives.
